Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
DebtCleared ("we", "us", "our") is available at getdebtcleared.com. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@getdebtcleared.com.
2. Information We Collect
- ·Account data — your email address when you sign up.
- ·Debt data — balances, interest rates, and payment amounts you enter into the app. This is stored securely in Supabase with row-level security.
- ·Payment data — when you purchase full access, Stripe processes your payment. We receive a confirmation but never see or store your card details.
- ·Usage data — basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to help us improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.
- ·Technical data — browser type, device type, and IP address, collected automatically when you use the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
- ·To create and manage your account.
- ·To save and sync your debt data across devices.
- ·To process your one-time payment via Stripe.
- ·To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
- ·To analyze usage patterns and improve the app.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate the app:
- ·Supabase — database and authentication.
- ·Stripe — payment processing.
- ·Vercel — hosting and delivery.
Each provider has their own privacy policy and security practices. We share only the minimum data necessary.
5. Data Security
Your debt data is stored with row-level security in Supabase — only you can access it. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. Use the app at your own risk.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and debt data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. Stripe may retain payment records as required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- ·Access the personal data we hold about you.
- ·Request correction of inaccurate data.
- ·Request deletion of your account and data.
- ·Object to or restrict certain processing.

8. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or serve third-party ads. If you block cookies, authentication will not work.
9. Children's Privacy
DebtCleared is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
